I couldn’t give high enough praise. Called and made a reservation for a Sunday morning and they got us seated immediately when we arrived AND in a quiet corner which made grandma immensely happy! Not to mention our server was exceptional and made sure we felt special and cared for! I wish I had a bigger stomach to keep eating, the food was sensational! I got the Bread Puddling French Toast and WOW. Also got the Bacon & Cheddar omelette which rocked my socks! They are generous with the bacon and I absolutely love that. Pancakes were just “ok” according to the three people who ordered them at our table. The breakfast burrito was the shining star of our meal. Chorizo and sausage with egg and potato wrapped in a tortilla topped with black beans and placed on a bed of salsa verde. Pancakes served as 3 or 5, do not come with sides. Sides are pricey - $7 for a side of breakfast sausage. The hot chocolate tasted more milky than chocolatey and the peppermint patty didn’t have much flavor either (it came with a peppermint patty candy to insert into the drink to melt/provide flavor). Surprisingly, the patty was still 1/3 whole when I finished the drink as the milk wasn’t properly heated. Server was amazing and parking was tough on this Presidents’ Day holiday (only breakfast served). Decent option if you are in the area.

This was my second visit. I definitely recommend you utilize Google maps to help you locate this (close to the highway, yet hidden) gem. Seriously, even getting into their parking lot is odd. But.. it's all going to be worth it! It is a rare spot where you can get quality food, with table service and a well run, full service coffee bar. I like their menu. It has an eclectic offering of items, that will have something for everyone. Beignets are good. I've never been to Louisiana, so what do I know. The atmosphere is open and airy. Feels a bit like a solarium. I really enjoy it! My first visit was Sunday at peak breakfast. It was slammed. I utilized their online reservation system (earlier that morning!), and was so glad I had! Popped in for dinner and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The menu offered a great variety, including a few breakfast items for dinner. Our server,Kevin, was attentive, but didn't hover. I had only wished I found this place on the 1st day of my 9 day stay in the area instead of my last. I would have eaten here every day. It's not anywhere near any other restaurants or businesses really so you kind of need to be intentful to just make it your destination. The inside boasts warm and welcoming super homey decor with a variety of nooks including a small bar area as well as a garden-like patio for your dining options. All the food appears to be homemade! The prices are a little steep but I feel you are getting what you pay for. The pictures really don't do it justice for how flavorful my meal was. The meatloaf had a surprising dense texture and a little bit of spicy heat. The potatoes were absolute perfection and I only wished there had been more. The green beans were just barely steamed and crunchy so all the vitamins weren't cooked out of them. The only complaint I could muster really was my rhubarb pie was just ever so slightly over baked and just adding a little whipped cream or sprinkle of powdered sugar with a little sprig of mint or lemon twist would have done wonders for presentation. I had the "Good Day Cooler" drink prior to my meal and it was quite refreshing although $10 for a very small glass left me willing to only have one. I was truly saddened I was not able to try any of their breakfast selections but I'm going to be sure to stop in again if I ever return to the area. This story is great for breakfast and brunch. More lackluster for other meals. Photos are one of the many options of Eggs Benedict, and the apple cinnamon pancake. I highly suggest something with hollandaise sauce. They also serve a variety of brunch booze options. Weekends and holidays make a reservation. Outstanding! I highly recommend visiting here. Please realize that my review is for breakfast as we visited in the morning. Easy to get to. Very conveniently located and plenty of parking (which they truly need). We went on a Saturday morning at about 10:30 and the place was packed. Having said that, we were able to get a table in about five minutes. Wonderful and interesting atmosphere. I felt that the tables were reasonably placed, and by that I mean they're not right next to each other. I hate when the other people next to you are practically in your lap and partaking in your conversation. Not the case here. Solid menu with just the right amount of selections. We tried to coffee drinks and were not disappointed in the least! The whip cream was fresh and delicious. The food? Superb! Absolutely brilliant! Again, this is for breakfast. The toast was done perfectly for the fried egg sandwich. Everything was fresh from the bread, vegetables and fruit. It was just great. The potatoes they served with it were cooked perfectly. Actually, those are now my favorite breakfast potatoes. Just great food. Our server was a bit flaky and off. But maybe they were just having an off day. They weren't bad, but just took a bit to remember things. I guarantee you'll love this place. I hope this helps. Cheers! Exceptional food. Fun, lively atmosphere, very friendly and detail oriented wait staff. Had an awesome experience and meal today! We each ordered a flavored latte, all delicious. I ordered chicken and pear salad, and my other half the breakfast sandwich. Both seemingly simple items but dang they were good! Our first time, but we will definitely be back!
