A few years ago this used to be my favorite restaurant, too bad the last 2 times I went there the quality has changed so much to the worse. I ordered chicken with ham and sage. The chicken was dry and it didn't come with side dish as it said on the menu. No explanation given because the waitress never came around to ask how the food was. The service was slow and ignorant. No manager around. They modernized the interior and changed the furniture, tood bad they didn't improve the most important things: taste and service. Stayed here for truck parking. I didn't want to spend too much money but thought sod it!! The food service and beer were all excellent. I decided to treat myself even though my pay is not that good. I don't care because everything was worth it and I enjoyed myself. Better than just staying in the cabin or going to McDonald's. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

During a very short visit we found clean toilets, friendly personnel and fresh mint in the tea. A score, we thought!

Nice service. Clean showers. 15 euros parking or you eat for 15 and free parking. Very good burgers.

Not much to say really. Had some expensive water and waited for a long time for our chicken satay and fries. After finally inquiring on their status, the waitress looked confused and asked us if we had ordered any food... maybe their English skills are just too poor, but she confirmed our order when we placed it, so I don’t know...

Bad truck stop After I was told by another driver that this truckstop was here, close to my destination I went there to parkup for the night. Normaly a truck driver would nead to pay €10 for the night and then get +/- €8 meal discount. Not so at this small "Van der Valk" look a like truck stop. Outside a sign to pay €15 for the night Parking but have your meal in order to get your discount. So what is the problem ?? I went inside and was given the menu and WOW ! It was realy expensif, the cheapest was a hamburger meal for €19 whice I would have payed €8 for at Burgerking. But ok the parking discount in the back of my mind i had the meal. After I had to pay more than €20 and €2 for the parking! So where did the truck drivers benafit go?? Well here at "De Goudreinet" OUT THE WINDOW ! . On my way here I pased truck stop Nobis in Asten where i parked up many times before with excellent results, good food for a good price. This time i went past it to be closer to my destination but next time I'll be back there to prefent beeing screwd ofer. This was my first and LAST time to come to truck stop "de goudreinet"
