I had to send my maple poutine back because it was so burnt and no chicken. So they took it back and then brought it back out with only half the serving. Took out some of the burnt ones and added more cheese and a few chunks of chicken. Then when you order a governor's blue plate you're supposed to get two burgers. We got our check they added an extra cheeseburger. Then proceeded to tell us if we didn't pay for it they were calling the police. Lol what a joke. I would love for the manager to contact me. I’ve never liked the coffee at governors in Ellsworth.. and I love coffee with my breakfast! . Today my friend Staci encouraged me to try the coffee. She said we changed it’s! I’m now on my 2nd cup and can sit here and drink it for the next two hours! Well OK that’s a little overkill but I am so happy to finally be able to drink coffee at governors and it’s absolutely delicious. I have no idea what kind it is and I’m not even going to ask! All I know is it was delicious! Thanks governors for changing your coffee and making it better tasting in my opinion! Those of you that like the governors coffee before it is so much better.. Your staff it’s so kind and sweet and sincere… the service is always great and the food is really good (thanks Chefs) Thank you from one satisfied customer! Pretty good had sausage and mushrooms omelette was good. The home fries were a bit plain. The corned beef hash I was not impressed by. My Waiter was pleasant and helpful. I was looking for a place to have breakfast on our way back home, and we stopped here. I choose it because of the bakery you can't go wrong with places that bake their own goods. And they weren't disappointed, we had the banana bread french toast Soooo good I had to ask if they had a loaf to take home, and they did, not fresh frozen which it was ok with me. The only problem was that the coffee was very weak and didn't even taste like coffee,other than that fully recommended.
