I’ve been coming to this location for nearly 4 years now and have never been disappointed. They have all of your BBQ staples, along with some fantastic and creative sandwiches. Weekly specials that usually make me want to stop in, fantastic dry rub wings. It is a bit more expensive than some restaurants, but I think it is well worth it. Staff is friendly and fast. Usually plenty of seating, unless you go in the evenings and on weekends but that’s the same for most restaurants.

I appreciated the cashier explanation for the wait for the table, although nice just not very personable. The food came out quickly, the Mac and cheese was subpar, the coleslaw was dry, the brisket was cool and not hot. The link was dry and semi hard. The ribs were good but not as expected for a place that claims to be champion BBQ. Manage your expectations. My first time here and quite possibly the last.

My new favorite bbq in Denver.
Perfectly cooked brisket. Super tender and juicy. The ribs are also amazing. They have just enough bite to not completely fall off the bone. Exactly how a rib should be done.
Do yourself a favor and get the onion rings. They are delicious.

Today's Special - Gque Rib Sandwich
Had the pulled pork and the brisket sandwiches. Both were like 8/10, which is EXTREMELY high for me as I'm a bit of a BBQ snob. It was great that a big pickle came with, but need to include onions also. Sauces were good, but I couldn't tell the difference between original and hottish. Hottish should be hotter... But folks, the thing which blew my balls off was the Slaw! Fresh and crispy with little to no mayo and granny smith apple. It was 15/10 and was great alone, but really set off the pulled pork. This place seems to know what they are doing and I look forward to trying out some other menu items. It ain't Texas, but it's the best BBQ I have found here in Denver.
