Location was wonderful and with the setting sun a lovely grand café, bistro vibe. The food on the other hand was terrible. I had the asparagus menu. Soup had cream flakes, and didn't have any asparagus pieces in it. The main course asparagus with ham, egg and potatoes, was basically a bowl of water. They were over cooked... Service was ok, not very at tentative. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

We had a lovely lunch here with champagne since we had something important to celebrate. One of few restaurants in our Bommelerwaard region which are open on Tuesday’s from 11u in the morning. Lunch meals were delicious and very tasteful. Easy to park close by Wheelchair friendly Nice terrace outside with view on the Waal river

Simple cafe based on made to order fresh sandwiches, coffee, cakes etc. Very basic but clean seating area good for eating and then moving on. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Location is perfect, hospitality is great and the cleaniness of this restaurant is amazing. Will go here again. One suggestion: reserve a space next to a window than you can watch the river :)

Good staff, lots of place to sit outside. The club sandwich was a bit to heavy on the mayo side in my opinion but the chicken thighs on it were very nice.

Nice place for affordable coffee and some self made apple pie (3 euros for a piece). Friendly staff and a nice view over de river De Waal. There are tables inside and outside (they have heaters outside). Lunch is a bit expensive, 6.50 for a "tostie", usually they cost around half of that.

I have decided to edit my previous review, fort the very simple reason that they have cleaned up their act. In there past this was a no go place, the service was below par and the same applied to the food. But I was more than pleasantly surprised during my last visit to this place. It's going somewhere, I can actually recommend them nowadays. Keep up the good work!
