Post-swim drinks on a Friday evening. It took nearly 45 min for our drinks to arrive. There was only one bartender. There were a few servers. It looked like they had no clue what they were doing. Maybe they had never worked in a cafe before? Many of them did not speak Dutch. Eventually we gave up waiting for us drinks and fetched our own tray of drinks from the bar.

Gezellig gegeten met vrouw, dochter en kleindochters. Voor ieder wat wils op de kaart. En redelijke prijzen. Eten kwam al snel en wat extra mayonaise was ook geen probleem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bij frituur frietjes stoofvlees met kroket besteld. Heel lang gewacht ,echt belachelijk. Zeker een uur. We zagen zeker 6/7 personen in de keuken, maar wat die allemaal daar doen, geen idee. In ieder geval niet hard werken. Was wel lekker en prijs was oke. Hoeveelheid ging net. Toen het EINDELIJK klaar was, hadden ze vergeten in te pakken, terwijl je er extra voor moet betalen en duidelijk op bon staat. Er is dus duidelijk werk aan de winkel. Aperitief geef je voor het eten. Dus bitterballen brengen samen met de hoofdschotel is een grote flater. Die laten brengen door een, weliswaar vriendelijke, jongeman die het Nederlands niet maxhtig is, is dan wel een makkelijke manier om geen discussie te krijgen. Stoofpotje zonder vlees, schnitzel die zo taai als wat is, enkel gebakken frieten, de bestelde sauzen niet op de schotels ... en als je de bediening probeert te vragen om wat, kijken ze weg ...
