It amazes me that anybody would buy fuel here. I've been here six years and their prices have always been 30 to 40 cents higher than every other station in town. Why? Because you can fit a semi in their parking lot? That's exactly why. Taking advantage of the truckers.

My husband and I always stop for gas here when we are traveling through. We finally stopped and were able to enjoy some of the food inside. It was all great! We got a sandwich, a giant chicken finger salad and a fresh fruit cup. All were amazing, and in my opinion, better than most restaurants! If you’re traveling through, I highly recommend stopping! Grasslands has a great selection of fresh made sandwiches, pizza, salads, and more! They even have pre-made dinners that you can take home for the family, with fresh baked bread! As a local, I really enjoy having Grasslands in the community.

OMG. Ordered pepperoni pizza and wasn't expecting anything special, but this pizza was so delicious. They weren't cheap on ingredients. Sauce was great and cheese was plentiful. I'll have to try other items on their menu. Order the pizza, you won't want anything else from anywhere

Literally one of the worst gas stations I've ever been to. Pumps never have card readers that work properly and good luck getting an employee to the register of they're not standing at it already. Even nearby they don't even acknowledge your presence and play on their phones, gossip with other employees, or do some other mundane task that involves not helping the customers. Everything is overpriced. Also the restrooms are as dirty as they come, prepare for trash everywhere and stong urine odor. I've been made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt and returned a couple times in 6 months only to find nothing had changed or it has been worse not better. I will gladly say I have now visited this dump for the last time. Also l, good luck getting coffee, what a joke.

I have worked in Douglas 2-4 days a week for the last 6 years. I stay in the hotel across the street from Grassland, it’s easy to walk across and get dinner. I get food there 1-2 times a week. They have been having staffing problems for the last few months and it’s hit or miss if the deli was open. Tonight I went for one of their great personal pizzas and the deli had a tarp over it. An employ told me that they could make pizza and chicken strips. GREAT! I asked the guy behind the counter if i could get a small pizza. He said sure in about 45 minutes. He had to stock the pre-cooked “hot box” first. I asked, you have to do that before waiting on a customer standing in front of you? He said yes, it’ll be maybe 30 minutes. I left and told the first employ, who I have dealt with for years, that I wouldn’t be back. He said sorry. Good food but service has gone way down hill since the new owner.
