Wish Id have taken pics but I didn’t think about it until now. The cookie was fantastic as always. The writing on it wasn’t bad but the mermaid…..wasn’t even subpar! Luckily my granddaughter was enjoying her party and didn’t pay too much attention to the art work. I was not impressed with the artwork in any kind of way.
Poor customer service, zero friendly faces up front, lack of care, no apology for their errors, and the store employees do not check orders prior to a delivery.
Also, when I called, they stated they were busy, drove over to pick up missing products and zero customers were in the store. The employee didn’t want to take the call. She stated Doordash didn’t know the order or my name and she wasn’t aware of the order & had to look for it in the back. My name is on the receipt and I questioned it along with the missing cookies. Lack of organization in store and their cookies order process.
I paid for delivery through their company website and Doordash delivered. I was mislead and if I knew who was going to deliver, I wouldn’t have placed this delivery order. No manager was in the store and they stated, she’ll call tomorrow….
Ordered cookie through mobile app, if you select a design just know they only add a name. I requested the age to be added but only the name got put on the cake. The design was done well and the cookie itself was moist and tasty.
My low rating is based on their poor scheduling/planning. I ordered a cookie cake 5 days in advance for a pickup time within a window that I needed it. I was headed to pick it up 45 minutes AFTER the pickup time and got a call as I was arriving that it wasn’t ready, and wouldn’t be for an additional 2+ hours. So if you need a cake by a certain time, be sure to schedule it AT LEAST 3 hours before you actually need it.
The cake itself was good, though. No complaints there.
The staff isn’t capable of taking a simple order for a cake. What I received wasn’t what I asked for and the instructions that were given to the employee. If there had been time I would have waited for another cake to be made. This is my first bad experience with this location and I order large cakes from here all of the time.
Tell me something - why do you fill out information about what you want on a $50 cookie cake, if the person doing it doesn’t do what is requested. This is the worst American Cookie Company. This one should be called -going to screw up your order America cookie company. I will use any other one if I order more cookie cakes. Thank you for requesting information then not following what was request so my 11 year old will not eat the cookie for her birthday.
