Guadalajara‘s Mexican Restaurant in Rogers Minnesota was a great dining experience this evening! Our food was served steaming hot, it tasted delicious, and was a great value! The ambience of the restaurant was warm, inviting, and attractively decorated with cozy, private booths. My husband and I will definitely return again soon!

This is a cute place, and the food is pretty good! (Less spicy compared to similar restaurants). Though, I believe I got overcharged when I dined in, I payed around 16 for two a la carte items (and I verified you could order them this way with the server before eating) Just kind of disappointing. We visited for lunch and were quite pleased. The food arrived rather quickly and was piping hot. The wait staff were very friendly. The chicken burrito was great! What an absolutely charming place. Our service was great, the staff there is so friendly! We got queso with our chips and it was good. Rich but not overly so. Taco platters were awesome. Meat has great flavor and the rice and beans were on point. Salsa was memorable and fresh. And the decor is so beautiful. Glad we stopped in, you should, too! Update 8.20.2023 Still great. Love the place! Of course will be back! Update 6.2023 Just wanted to mention that Christian was wonderful as usual!! :). Chips were really good this time. Update 9.23.2022 Was even better than before. Everything good.... Recommended! Good with gluten free. Great because gluten free is marked right on their menus! But food was not great. Service was great. But taco shells.. Hard shell... Were just chewy not crispy... Refried beans were very good. But the salsa was not at all spicy and just didn't have a lot of taste to it. Chips were fairly tastless. All in all I really appreciated the gluten free angle there because I'm a Celiac. but the food was a bit bland. Really big place, and it's organized nicely. We were given a bowl of salsa and a basket of hot tortilla chips and it was super good. It was a little watery (not a problem taste-wise) which made it hard to eat because there were no appetizer plates. I would recommend giving small plates with the salsa. The main food was delicious though. I loved my seafood burrito and it was super flavorful and the texture was wonderful throughout. The shrimp was sooooo good, and the cheese sauce really tied everything together. Also, the portion was huge! For dessert, we got the fried ice cream. It was good, I would have liked more of the outside coating, but the "bowl" it came in was super yummy and cinnamon-y. Overall, I liked eating here. I think the main highlight of this place was the seafood burrito which was perfect in every way. Service was fast and very kind, as well as attentive. 10/10 for service Some things that would have made the experience better: - appetizer plates to go with salsa to avoid a mess - have paper napkins readily available/accessible. It was a little inconvenient to have only the one napkin that was wrapped around the cutlery - double check to see if the cutlery/dishes are clean. I used to eat at Guadalajara frequently in the early 2010’s, and let me say: it’s MUCH better now than it was then! Let me start off by mentioning that I dined in on Saturday, showing up around 7p. Was promptly seated outside, which was pretty empty, but inside, the place was probably at 70% capacity. Despite being fairly busy, service was quick, and the staff seems to handle a busy night with ease. When it comes to food, I’ll say: we LOVE a basket of complimentary chips! And these chips were *quite* good! And the salsa… yummy! Flavorful, good texture, but also not spicy to the point of being unenjoyable. The Paloma I ordered was absolutely delightful! For $9~, it far exceeded my expectations, and is truly a good value. I’ve spent 12-14 on lesser Paloma’s in Northeast Minneapolis. I’m going to go back for another Paloma alone! My burrito, the ultimate fajita burrito… again, exceeded expectations. Flavorful with well prepared ingredients, it showed up hot and presented with all the fixings, I couldn’t have asked for a better meal!!! I’d absolutely suggest this spot, and hope this experience isn’t a fluke!

Good food. Very large portion size. My wife and myself could not finish it all and took the rest home for later in nice size boxes. OK parking. Easy to get to. Good, friendly, fast, service. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff and excellent service at this authentic Mexican restaurant! Decorative and even great music to enhance a great culinary experience. We had excellent chips and salsa along with 2 for one margaritas on Mondays! The salsa was so good that we ate all of it! That never happens! We had dinners of chicken chimichangas and tamales. Both very good. Lots of room for distancing too!
