Very good food. We found it hard to find good food in the the old town of Safranbolu probably because of two contributing reasons -- low season; and most of the outlets in the old town seemed like tourist traps. However Haci Erol was lively and bustling whenever we went (yes, we went multiple times). The Adana kebab was good. The pide was good. The lahmacun was good. The custard-type pudding was excellent (don't remember the name). And the staff was courteous and accommodating even though they couldn't speak English that well (it's more of a local place than a tourist place). Just had lentils soup and it was ok Didn’t try other things as I was rush to leave the city

We ordered a lot of things, everything was very good, the service was good and fast. Dessert was good specially Cennet Çamuru which is made mainly of pistachios. Prices were reasonable.
