One of the best breakfast experiences we've had in Carson Valley. The food we ordered was delicious. Decent prices and HUGE portions. The plates almost didn't fit on the table and they were loaded with food. We ordered a side of 2 pancakes and were so glad we did because we wouldn't have made it through a short stack. Props that the pancakes are actually dinner plate sized and a short stack here is 4 instead of your standard 2, and a regular stack has 6. Hubby said the Chilaquiles were delicious, and others must agree because we saw at least four other orders of them come out while we were there, and the restaurant wasn't very busy... maybe 7 tables had people at them when we arrived at 9am. Service was good and coffee cups were kept full. Already planning on bringing out of town guests here when they visit. I haven't been to Heidis in many years. Both of our favorite breakfast spots were closed so we decided to try it. I have to say... this is mine and my fiances new favorite breakfast restaurant! The best flavors around with a great menu. I got the Alaskan omelet and he got the chorizo scramble. It was cooked exactly like we requested. We also got a side of gravy and it was amazing!
