Come here for a drink after a long walk around Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. It's time to try nicely cooked meatloaf sandwiches, crabs and crab soup. Drink the delicious draft beer, liqueur or wine offered here. When visiting this bar, it's a must to try good tea. We went there with but we didn't eat. Was not anything on the menu we would really wanted. Look like the beer selection was good. The place is really dark but I bet that's why they call it. Hemingways it would it would remind you somewhere he would hang out Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic dive bar in the heart of downtown Beaufort...atmosphere is cozy and amazing...nice little outdoor seating area as well...great place to have fun or take a break from downtown Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great local watering hole with awesome vibe, nice people, great music, and cold drinks. As an individual with natural talent for finding local dives wherever I land I can attest this is a winner. Good selection of brews and tasty bites. The music is fantastic

A small bar that serves a limited menu of sandwiches and sushi. I went on the 4th of July and got the turkey melt and a bloody mary. Both were decent, but nothing special. I didn’t go expecting to be blown away. The service was good and it definitely has that small, local feel that you’d get at your local watering hole. Prices are pretty fair, but $8 for a bloody mary that comes from a bottle (even with lots of accoutrements) is a bit steep. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

This is a fabulous place. Located off Bay street and the beautiful water front. The owner was fabulous and this is a cosy place. Beautful views. Outdoor seating and pet friendly.. This is a great local pub facing the Beaufort Waterfront Park. We didn't know how to get to it, so it was a bit hard to find. The address is on Bay Street, but you actually enter around the other side of the building, facing the river. It's in the basement, but they have a lot of outside seating, which was perfect for the sunny day we were there. They also had live music, which was an added bonus. The staff was really working hard that day, but still gave us good service. The sandwiches and beer were both very good. It's a great place to stop for a drink and meal if you are in the area.

Sub, lower level bar with unique decor. Regular Crowd and staff are very friendly. Gets crowded later and nice vibe. One the only bars open until 2 AM.

We didn’t get to try the food because they weren’t serving anymore around 10, but we did grab a drink and get to hear good music that night. Drinks weren’t specially made,bartender didn’t have menu or suggest anything and wasn’t really friendly or out going. Would come back to try the food,but not to hang out after that.

Seriously, the sandwiches were top notch.... my kids polished their food off (they never do that). I really can't explain how good everything we got tasted. Unfortunately I gobbled my food down before I remembered to take a picture.... so I got a picture these pictures to entice you to come for the unique atmosphere but stay for the food and service.
