The aircraft...focker wulfe is a truly visual/eerie sight to see. Worth the trip in itself... furthermore the outside is good for a walk around if weather permits...

Es ist ein sehr kleines Museum mit verschiedenen Exponaten aus der Tierwelt, der Geschichte von Herdla und es werden auch kleinere Kunstausstellungen angeboten. Sehr viel Raum hat ein altes Flugzeug aus dem 2. Weltkrieg erhalten was man aus dem Atlantik geborgen hat. Zusätzlich kann man Bunker - Touren buchen, diese sind aber selten und man sollte sich vorher erkundigen ob eine Tour stattfindet. Nicht zu vergessen ist das Kaffee gleich am Eingang mit dem netten Personal. Vielen Dank an den netten Guide für die Führung.

Veldig lite museum. I praksis bare et gammelt fly (som var interessant å se) - men øvrig museum gir ingenting. Kan nok anbefales å besøke på en dag hvor det er omvisning i batteriet…

We've been on Herdla several times, and there is still so much to discover. The museum is small and cosy. The German plane fro WW2 and some German army instruments are the biggest and the most attractive exponates. The museum has a little cafe with good choice of cakes, coffees and easy dishes. There is also a large area for children with lot of different toys. Recommended visiting museum and whole Herdla on warm days with no wind. They also organize tours including visiting of control rooms for torpedos and mines.
