That's a nice idea to order nicely cooked crab cakes, breakfast sandwiches and smoked salmon. The chef at this cafe cooks good French toasts, crepes and berry compote. After a long working week, you can taste delicious draft beer, cider or marsala. Great chai latte, ice tea or strawberry lemonade are the best drinks of Hilltop Cafe Bistro. The great location of this place makes it easy to reach by any transport. The cute staff welcomes visitors all year round. Fine service is something clients agree upon here. Prices are adequate for the quality you get. There is a cool atmosphere and terrific decor at this spot. As for the Google rating, this cafe got 4.4.

Cozy spot for breakfast and lunch. After reading reviews we ordered crab benedict and it was delicious. Some reviews noted that the home fries were burned or overcooked but my experience was that they were pretty good. We went first thing, right when they opened and it wasn't crowded at all. Service was good. The only drawback is that this spot is on the top of a hill overlooking beautiful Alsea Bay but the view was the parking lot and the road which seemed odd. My best Valentine's Day linner ( lunch/dinner)...Drove down just for the French Onion soup! Reuben was fabulous...Only thing I wish....do a wilted spinach salad...with the soup....either way I'll keep coming down for the French Onion and the wonderful staff!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place has been calling our attention for a while. Finally dropped in and had the ahi tuna wrap - man, what a meal! It was huge and tasty. Perfect amount of wasabi that had my nose going. I ordered a quiche and I am pretty sure it had sand in it because I am not sure what else could have had that texture. My friend offered me some of his breakfast potatoes and they had the same problem. I told the server and she did not offer any solutions so I paid for a meal I couldn't eat. OMG!! The BEST CLUB on the coast! Yummmmmm!!!! And they don't splurge on the meats at all! Infact; it's packed to the limits! Every bite tasted so FRESH and satisfying.
