My rating is low because I had been trying to give this place a better chance but they are very inconsistent in what they have on the menu. We went in to order for a group of 9 and could only fulfill 3 of the 9 orders because everything we requested was not available on the menu. They advertise chicken or lamb over rice and never even had it in stock. I told my friends, maybe this is because they're new. A month later, we return, now they don't have bread to make sandwiches or the ingredients. Now, they don't have catfish, and an assortment of fish they advertise. Now they are limited to fries and a few sides. The inconsistency is a sad inconvenience because the food is actually really good, during the day. The evening shift is not consistent with the same food at night. This place has the potential to be "THEE Fried FOOD SPOT" in this area but misses with the consistent inconsistencies in the items available vs the shift changes and the flavor of food change from morning to evening shift. I hope to see this business excel because even with this experience, the food is a solid 4.5 out of 5 when they're making it properly.

Decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed. This is a fast food place, so please keep that in mind.
The prices are reasonable and I like the pick your own meal options.The restaurant seems to be clean and there is plenty of parking out front. The chicken and shrimp are pretty good. I also got the fish, but I wish it was fried a little harder. The sides are hot or miss. I believe the waffle was okay. We will return.

Bland bland bland. Months ago, I placed a DoorDash pickup order and arrived when DD notified me of it being ready. When I arrived, they hadn’t even started making my order. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes for bland food. Get some spices and herbs in that kitchen!!!

Wow! I am speechless the food is absolutely amazing!! Not only is the food delicious but the customer service was great! I ordered the fried catfish and rotisserie chicken and both was what my soul needed. Let me also add that the store is immaculate. I will definitely be visiting famous fish chicken in waffles again. Thank you again to Ali and ZaZa for a great experience. I'll see you all soon!
Firstly as soon as i walked in i was immediately greeted buy a wonderful young women. The menu was impressive, oddly enough it was the mac and cheese and honey bourbon wings that won my stomach and heart over. The staff was wonderful the food was wonderful and the inhouse tea lemonade was just amazing!! Over all A for amazing!
I am truly pleased with the quality of the food and a big ups to the owners and employees. They are very friendly and most of all professional and welcoming. This is my 3rd time since they open on last Thursday. Everything that I have tried gets a A+.

Fast friendly service, I don’t eat out often, but this my go to place!! A lot better than other places I have patronized. More bang for the buck, if you’re feeding people with big appetites!!
