Always a pleasant experience here. Staff is friendly, quick and attentive w/o bugging you. Food is amazing, taste-wise and visually. My only suggestion is update the drinks, they are not good the sake piña colada was not good and I tried my bf lemonade and wasn’t good in opinion and I saw in the back you guys use the powdered country time lemonade. Ewww I don’t want to waste 3-6 bucks on nasty drinks, I will drink water next time. food was good but I didn't like the way they handled my situation. i sat at the bar area and i waited a while for service. Another guy came in and they were quick to take his order first and his food came out first. i didn't get my food till he was done. then they offered to comp my salad because it was really late. They comped it but then took my bill back n charged me for the salad & took off a whole dollar. all this with a standard surcharge on all orders of something like 15%. if they had talked to me about it instead of switching my bills at the end, i would have been okay. but that was insulting. The food is good but the hidden costs are off the chart. Extra charge for eating in and taking out. Fifteen dollars for a ramen bowl and if you take it out then an extra charge for utensils. I was at the place to eat at 3 but they mentioned they would close at 4 and would not sit me down, because only takeout would be available. Small and clean place. But the food is DELICIOUS!! The cucumber crab salad is nice and light. The tuna and crispy rice are warm and have a great crunch to them. And the pork buns are sooooo good. They have the perfect amount of sweetness, and with the pickled onions, it's not too overpowering. Lastly, but most importantly, the tonkotsu is super rich and delicious, add in some chili and garlic, and its heavenly for the cold weather.
