Nice friendly place for breakfast. Only complaint would be the 2 additional .90 charges on the bill. Guess they were probably for sour dough toast and rye. Staff should NOT offer everything as if it's included, make it clear if there is an upcharge. I only wanted 1 piece of toast anyway, and ended up paying extra. Would have declined. Food took forever, people came in after us and received their food before us. Once the food came it was cold. Quite simply, the food was good, as was the service. The setting was a little cramped, but okay. I would go there again, but honestly, it wouldn't be my first choice. The prices were a bit lower than we've found in other area restaurants, and the food quality was good as well. It's not really accessible for anyone with mobility issues, both for access and maneuvering around inside. An okay location for small families due to its limited space. I have been going to Horizons restaurant for several years now with my mother and my sister. The food is always good and unique. We would take our mother to Horizons, and she loved Freddy who waited on us a few times. We live in New Hampshire so we don’t know how Freddy is doing but we are hoping he is still with us, because we’d like to see him again and enjoy the great service that he gave to us. Very nice place for breakfast. It is a bit small, so places are limited when you go during the morning rush. The food was very good and prepared perfectly. The waffle with blueberries did not come with fresh blueberries, which is what I was expecting since we were in the season. This is why I put only 4 stars. We will go again for sure. We went in for a late breakfast. The service was friendly, fairly prompt, and the dining area was really clean. The guy serving coffee was really on his game - never had a cold cup. Food was pretty good - nothing outstanding, but I've got no complaints. My daughter downed her pancake pretty fast, so I know she was plenty happy. If you are staying at any of the hotels within walking distance of this place, I'd definitely recommend going.
