Having seen Triq Santa Rita Steps, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Hugo's Lounge offers you nicely cooked hamburgers, kids chicken nuggets and monkfish. Freaking amazing, you would not be able to tell the burger was a fast food item. Their local secret sauce is great with their skin on salty, but not too salty fries. Most of the menu items are great and the chicken nuggets are not processed chicken nuggets. This burger restaurant was quite nice to eat in, and definitely a good spot to get some lunch from. I had ordered the Rocco’s burger meal (which I would highly recommend). I heard that it is also one of the favourites here. Prices are also very good, with a meal being a max of around €13. The location is also great being in the centre of St Julian’s night life, meaning it could be a great spot after a night out or even just before! If you are to visit, do try the sauces they offer! The burger was good, with fresh ingredients and a delicious taste. Despite the restaurant's busyness, the service was quick, and the food arrived fresh and well-prepared. However, the burger's meat portion was a bit underwhelming. For a place specializing in burgers, I expected a more substantial, juicier patty. The meat was thinner than anticipated, which took away from what could have been a perfect burger experience. In conclusion, Hugo's Burger Bar is a great choice for a quick, tasty meal in a pleasant setting. The restaurant excels in atmosphere, service, and overall quality.
