I LOVED when HyVee came to town many, many years ago. Most of my nieces and nephews have worked there during high school, and I even had a part-time job there for a while. But I am no longer going there. I HATE that they keep changing their Perks card benefits and want us to "upgrade" the card in order to keep getting the sales prices as well as the fuel benefits that we have always gotten. I tried upgrading thru my online account 3 times and thought it finally worked. Went thru line spending too much on frivolous stuff thinking I was getting a discount, so it made it worth it. But no...my account was not showing upgraded. Why do I need to upgrade to keep getting the perks I have always had? I was on my lunch break and didnt have time to go to customer service to figure it all out. I'm just tired of them. First prescriptions counted for fuel points, then they didn't, then it did again and now it doesn't again. While my niece was the last one who worked here locally and while in school after many years they took away all thier empkoyees discounts. My mom & dad had a senior discount, then the store stopped doing those and now are doing it again. My nephew graduated college and went to work for them in Des Moines and they are so ridiculously disorganized, I don't know how they stay in business. It just makes me mad looking at the building anymore.

I was pleased to find everything on my list. The deli folks never hesitate to slice a ham. They are always willing to help. It was busy but the lines kept moving. I have a question/ concern. How can I spend $404.81 and not save on penny on fuel. Second time in the past few weeks. I've asked because the deli had fuel saver items I know. Just asking. Thanks, will be back.

The parking is a hot mess, dangerous, not enough handicapped parking. Most of the store employees are rude, not helpful, carry a "self-righteous" attitude. The best time to be at this store is after 7pm

Loved it. Super clean and deli is super fresh their bar is lit. Food is super tasty especially the chicken spicy tenders. Yummm .. Albert was super friendly and helpful.. oh and food is also affordable

You can get good stuff here. Really helpful for everyday grocery shopping. Also the prices are good. Don't forget to checkout the cooked meals, they are pretty cheap and taste amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the two ladies in the flower/balloon department. One came out to help me choose a balloon from their stand & another put my chosen bouquet in a vase & carry box & reminded me to pick up the small card & all with a friendly attitude. Thank you!!

You really have to read the fine print on any sale price and have to belong to the latest program to get sale prices, and you have to divulge lots of personal info to get the card program. Sneakyist business Marketing campaign i have ever witnessed. They sell pork chops based on the price of 4 ounces as a big advertised sale sometimes. Of course you have to read the fine print to figure out the price per pound is 4 times the advertised price. Not sure what happens if you try to buy 4 ounces of pork chops!!

So much for my birthday dinner. I stopped in and got some mussels for a Italian dinner. I picked out the open mussels and put the rest in water. Literally almost everyone floated. Out of the whole bag 6 to 8 are good. I live 35 min away from this store and Literally dont even want to cook dinner now. If this is the sea food quality i can just imagine what the rest of the fish is like. Buyer be ware and really disappointed they would sell old seafood like this. I will keep buying my seafood from sams or Costco. I should have just made the trip to sams were i know there wouldn't have been an issue.
