Jonathan at Silvis hyvee bakery horrible service. Ordered 200 cookies for my grandfather funeral and they didn’t show up. Didn’t even bother to give us a call to let us know that they weren’t coming. Said they weren’t sure this morning but still didn’t give us a call. Will never be back.
The store is fine...this review is for the dining inside Hy-Vee .... I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy.. usually I don't complain cuz it doesn't do any good but today my biscuit is cold not even warm and is tough to chew....probably won't eat here again
I ordered flowers from the floral department and Kenya was so kind and helpful. They offer free delivery to the hospital as well. Thank you for your compassion helping me order flowers for my grandmother.
Rachid was a very nice young man. I didn’t understand half of what he said but he helped me with my online shopping order after they didn’t have the product I wanted. Will be shopping here again. Thank you emoloyee Hy-Vee silvis!!
We went here for a bourbon raffle. It was very unorganized. Many people didn't even get tickets after driving hours to get there. They didn't mark people to show who received tickets. Many people were going thru line multiple times. The entire system lets anyone participate in the raffle. Many people are from out of town. It doesn't reward local customers who spend money at the store every week.
Unsure why this opportunity 'popped up' on my phone; but I am truly grateful it did because earlier today I had been reflecting on how very grateful I am for the excellent service I received there yesterday afternoon, as I have so many times over the many years of shopping there.
So much so, that yesterday when purchasing a necklace for a friend's birthday gift, I noticed the $1. a rose special they have. I commented, very sincerely to one of the gracious, helpful floral staff there, if this grandma had the money in her budget do so--
how I would love to buy enough roses to give each of the wonderful Hy-Vee employees, for each of them are truly special individuals, regardless of their positions, departments, responsibilities, and authority...
And I would've if I could've. But hopefully, someone there will read this and pass it on till I can make some goodies or appreciation posters again for them.
Till then, I pray God bless them, each and every one, and their families too, in His only HE can precious and powerful ways.
I have been using HyVee pharmacy for over 20 years. I have never been treated so rudely as I was yesterday at Silvis HyVee. Not any more.I don't like the waiting more than 24 hour because everything is at the distribution center across the river.
They said they couldn't give me a rain check on some bear soup because there were other kinds out there. I said I didn't like the other kinds, just the vegetable beef. She said she couldn't, which was a lot of bull.
One of nicest and friendly HyVee's around the Quad Cities! They are always willing to help our Girl Scout troop for cookie booths at any time! The management staff are absolutely amazing and friendly! The staff are always smiling and talking to everyone they make you feel like family and at home! The store inside and out looks very nice and always clean!!! Just all around great atmosphere and place!!!
