This restaurant is to be recommended for nicely cooked mushroom omelette, hash browns and soup. A number of reviewers mention that you can have good buttermilk pancakes, crepes and waffles here. I love being there, I've always been at this place since I was a little girl, and now I'm still going here. I live in a nother area, when I can I go to the one in Skokie. The waitress was attentive, polite and efficient. The facility was clean and orderly. Unfortunately the food was bland. The signature pancakes were edible, not memorable. Food was good, however the service provided by Janet J. (I believe that was her name) was not very pleasant! We did not get greeted with a smile first thing! No good morning or hello!?
