With seating sections closed off, the lobby was overflowing, and the wait was extensive. Second, I was served a cup of coffee with fresh lipstick on it, which was a nice touch. The third final glorious touch was plastic silverware. I was super turned on by the experience, but my girlfriend refuses to go back.

The food we ordered today is not really good. We all have experienced indigestion after all. I have been to this restaurant so many times. I've had good and bad experience in my previous visits and nothing tops today's service. The server is very rude. We have to sit and wait 15 minutes to be asked if we need something to drink. Then another 5 minute to get the menu then. After about 20 minutes getting the menu, the server took our order and 10 minutes later we go out food. I tried to call our server by waiving my hand which she was pretending like she didn't see me. But the guy who helped us seat saw me and came and asked what I need. All I needed were utensils ( usually placed in the table before customer sits). When the bill comes, I saw over charge and called our server and asked her to correct it, but she tried to argue and later admit the error and fixed it. I am not against leavin gratitude, but for the service I have experienced, should not give my hard earning money. Like any other restaurant, customer should be willingly and happily leave service appreciation tip base on food quality, service and cleanliness.
I don't think I will ever go to this restaurant again and will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

It's perfect walking distance for us! Sundays are a bit busy so you may have to wait a few minutes.
The service is amazing and the food is always on point. The coffee is that classic diner coffee flavored water.
The atmosphere is colorful. It's always full of families and laughter!

Double Blueberry Pancakes
Had the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was great. The biscuits were flat due to them being cut in half and placed on the grill to be toasted. Dried out the biscuits and the grill gave the biscuits an odd flavor. Cinnamon pancakes had an extreme amount of cinnamon sauce on them. Server was great and attentive. Very clean dining area.

Ham Cheese and Hash Browns Omelette
The service here has progressively gotten worse. The waitress didn’t seem to care about her job and management seemed to support that sentiment. Fast forward to the end of our meal… My wife’s grandmother gave the waitress her card to pay and the waitress came back and said that the payment system was down and said that we had to pay in cash, when we said we didn’t have any cash, the waitress said “well, that’s not my fault”. We then talked to the manager and asked if we could write a check and she said no and that we had to wait until the system came back up. When asked what the anticipated wait time was, she said “I don’t have to deal with this, just leave!”, when in reality as the manager, it was her responsibility to handle the situation and find a resolution that benefited both the company and the customer, which she did neither, instead deciding that letting money walk out the door was the better option.
To the owner, find new management and employees. You’re losing money and loyal patrons money due to incompetent leadership and subpar customer service. The fact that your manager was willing to lose money vs. making an exception by taking a check was surprising. An establishment can’t expect to hold their patrons hostage because of a technical issue, especially when patrons are offering alternative payment methods. To top it off, we watched many other patrons enter the building and get seated without even being informed of the issue.

Had an appointment near lunchtime and decided to give IHOP a try for breakfast. The restaurant is clean and service is quick. IHOP's breakfast items are very similar to that of Perkins whereas 2 to 3 pancakes usually accompany the breakfast omelet. I decided against getting the pancakes for the side dish and opted for an alternative which was toast and jelly. Probably the only negative thing I can say is why would a person only get one piece of toast just on. Kinda of odd. But otherwise it was a good breakfast.

I met my son here for dinner and the place wasn't too busy and the staff was very attentive to us and the food came out quickly.
We had a nice conversation with each other and the staff kept the coffee carafe filled for us and cleared the dishes off the table as we finished.
I left a very nice tip for the staff.

Two by Two by Two Egg Breakfast
After previously dining at the IHOP in maplewood, the IHOP in Oakdale was a million times better! Though my experience wasn’t perfect, we actually got the order we wanted (sort of… they got part of my order wrong but they corrected it). If you have a hankering for some IHOP, it’s worth the additional 15 minutes to NOT go to the maplewood one.
Side note, the Oakdale location seems to close at 2pm. Not sure if that’s updated in google maps yet.

Worst service I’ve ever received. The server gave us coffee and never came to refill for half and hour. Though the place was not busy. We had to go find our server and ask how long our food was gonna take. The worst egg Benedict I’ve ever eaten. It looks like they microwaved the frozen packet. I’m never gonna come back to this place.

Had a great experience this morning. Our server, I believe her name was Rara, she was all over it and very kind to boot. Service was prompt, courteous, and food was among the best I've seen. Visually, temperature-wise, and the taste were all great. Believe it or not, it basically looked like the pictures on the menu (guest is vegetarian so I flipped that bacon to my plate!). From top to bottom, everyone was doing well or the experience couldn't have been so complete.
