An absolute MUST TRY on your coast trip! We LOVED IT! Excellent food generous portions and fantastic service! 🙌 we also got the salmon entree and the carbonara special! We stayed in Cambria for one night and went to Indigo Moon just next door to our hotel. In two people we shared the lobster bisque and new york steak, don't forget to request their bread! The portions are well served and might be sufficient for two people. We also ordered wine by the glass and got a chocolate tower for dessert. Everything we ordered was great and we paid around $80 for the full meal for two. We arrived at 6pm and there was plenty of seats, however when we left the place was almost full so make sure to arrive early. Not sure if they make reservations. My husband and I came to Cambria for a little get away before some extra craziness begins in our life. Indigo moon was recommended by our hotel. As soon as we walked in I told my husband “it smells like homemade food”(first good sign) we waited only a few minutes because we didn’t have reservations. As soon as we were sat at our table we were tended to (water and drinks). We each ordered a Syrah, perfection! Looking over the menu we started with butternut squash soup and a lobster bisque. Let me tell you I’ve never had a better soup!! After the first spoonful we looked at each other in surprise. We aren’t really soup people but wow was it delicious. Next I ordered a shrimp fettuccine and my husband ordered the rib eye with mashed potatoes with broccoli. The fettuccine was delicious and the shrimp were fresh. The steak was juicy and had some amazing flavors. I know you’re thinking well what more could a steak taste like. The seasoning/herbs used to cook the steak was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, absolutely delicious. Everything on our plates we enjoyed. At this point getting pretty stuffed from all the good food, we knew we had to taste dessert. I ordered some sort of apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and my husband order a key lime pie, you just can’t go wrong at this place it was all beyond delicious. The service was amazing. I love it when my drinks are constantly being refilled and the server was friendly and cheery. I need to mention that the atmosphere was great and inviting, can also be romantic. I loved everything about this place. The food is well priced especially for the portions. We spent a decent amount but for all we got plus 2 glasses of wine, I was surprised it wasn’t more.
