I live 2 hrs from my granddaughters, I picked them up, for the weekend. I had had a positive previous experience. This time, I experienced multiple tables on the opposite side of the restaurant that arrived up to 20 or so minutes after us, and they were served 5 to 10 minutes before we were. When my youngest granddaughter notices, I really take note. We were there for over an hour and a half, and those people that arrived after we did left before we were even served our dinners. Great value. Food's not bad. Service is excellent. Homemade pies and pastries up front. Grab one on your way out! We ate here a few times over our 4-week stay. One of the best places to eat in the little town of Newport. Nothing fancy. Just a surprising hidden gem. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
