Had a gyro and it was very good. Packed with meat and lots of sauce. I think they fried the pita on one side because it had a nice toasted flavor and a pleasing crunch, while still being soft and flexible. Fries were small but I got plenty and they were hot, crisp, and flavorful. Will definitely be returning. One star is being generous. These people should not be in the business. Completely inept, which is why there are never any lines. Don't waste your hard earned money at this establishment if you can call it that. WAITED A HALF HOUR FOR A FRIGGING PIZZA PUFF, WHICH WAS UNDER COOKED? DEFINITELY FROM THE WEST SIDE OF THE CHI. I've been looking for a place like this in Madison for a long time. Glad I found it. Although the hot corned beef sandwich wasn’t great, it was good and the only place in town that serves one. The fries were fantastic--fresh, thick-cut, and crispy. I'll be regular now that I've found it.
