We eat at Jefferson’s in Cartersville often, this was our first time ordering it to go. This is definitely not the portion size served in the restaurant. $7.99 for this. Food: 1 Service: 2

Overall a good experience. The customer service was good and the food was prepared quickly. Fried pickles as an appetizer with burgers and loaded mac and cheese for the group. The deep fried pickles and deep fried mushrooms appetizers were very good. The shrimp baskets were ok but the cajun grilled shrimp came out barely warm and tasted like they had been microwaved and then had the seasoning sprinkled on. The loaded fries appetizer was drowning in the cheese sauce. Way too much put on. Our group was able to sit together in the downstairs bar area. Great size and ambience for a casual meal. Service was friendly, fast, helpful without hovering. This was my first time at any Jefferson's location so I didn't know quite what to expect of the food but was pleasantly surprised. From the oysters to the typical bar food style options and even a really nice big salad, everything that came to our table was really good. I had previously loved going to this place. However, my last visit was not great. My husband and I were directed to pick any seat. We sat and received menus. Then our waitress proceeded to pass us at least three times without even asking for our drink order. I proceeded to watch her sit in the back of the restaurant and was about to walk out when she approached after we had been there almost 10 minutes. I enjoy the food here but the service needs to be improved and make customers feel like they are appreciated to be there. Probably will not return for a while, as I have many more establishments that are happy to acknowledge me as a customer. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
