Our first visit here will not be our last! The rib fingers and BBQ chicken were standouts, but everything was delicious. The service was amazing and our waiter had an excellent sense of humor. Let me start by saying I love eating at Jethros. The food is always great. Our server "C" took 10 minutes to acknowledge us. Then after another 15 we had to flag down another server to take our order. "C" brought our food but never checked back. I would have liked to have another drink but I didn't think I should have to go the bar myself. Visiting from out of town working and came here for a nice dinner… well the service didn’t even deserve 1 star!! Very rude and unprofessional to say the least. The boy we had was extremely rude to us and had a nasty attitude and made smart comments towards us. Never came to check on us service took so long to do anything. We had to get up ourselves and come ask for to go boxes and our checks. Such a horrible experience for the first time there. This place will never get my business again. Wasted $50!!!!! & 2 hours. I got the chicken Alfredo and it tasted like canned Alfredo sauce. The gnocchi my husband got was very hard. Sometimes it’s better to pay then make a fuss. The fried zucchini, cheese steak, and sweet potato fries were my favorite parts! I wanna try the chicken alfredo, or the all you can eat Spaghetti next time. . . . I got the haddock, with slaw & sweet potato fries. The slaw had too much vinegar for me, and the haddock was a little under seasoned. Our first visit but definitely not our last! The service is Excellent~Thank You Ed😇i wish we had taking a photo of the long strips of lightly breaded, fried zucchini strips w/ a side of marinara, my gosh they were incredibly delicious! Salmon Primavera is out of this world! Salmon cooked to Perfection, so incredibly tender bursting with flavor served over pasta with perfectly cooked broccoli, cauliflower & carrots topped off with a light cream alfredo topping The atmosphere is very comfortable, scenery is beautiful, Service is the best! I had the medium rare beef tips with a side of spaghetti. What I got were unseasoned burnt chunks of gristle and a side of spaghetti covered in plain tomato sauce. Very disappointed... You can't beat the food, service and views at Jethros. We always sit outside and it's an amazing experience everytime. The ribs and chicken were falling off the bone, the fried zuchinni was light and crispy, and the asparagus was perfectly done! Definitely recommend. Me and my friend came here, and the food was worth the 70-mile drive by far. We came to explore altoona and were not disappointed. The meal was great, but the real gem was our server Jamie, who made the entire meal worth it. The service and conversation made the food better!!!!The bread was amazing to start. The rib fingers are fantastic. The soup had great flavor and texture. I had the ribs and shrimp with both types of fries, and i am not dissappinted in the least. The sauce is perfect and cooked to perfection. Staff was quick and delightful, very active and accommodating. Food was okay and reasonably priced, I would recommend as a lunch restaurant for sure! Salad dressing is a little light (viscosity wise) and in general, the food is light and cooked very good. Good if your looking for a meal on the lighter side. Would visit again!
