We have visited Joses several times over the years with mostly positive impressions, except for the atmosphere in the bar area on Friday and Saturday evenings. Recently, apparently with the new management/ownership in place, the overall experiences in "Juniors" have been wonderful. In recent months we have made it a weekly visit. The new owners are as friendly and competent as they come; the service is top notch and extremely attentive. The food is very good/authentic Mexican cuisine. We hope this business builds as Mercedes and family are excellent additions to our Gretna community. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

12/2023 update. We've been huge Jose's supporters for many years. They're under new ownership and management now. It's called Jr's Mexican Grill. Owner is super nice and always helpful but service is so bad. The past three times we've been our food order has been incorrect. Tried again tonight for take out and our order was still wrong and they didn't send salsa with the chip. As I mentioned management is always super helpful about getting things corrected but you shouldn't have to correct each and every order. Grilled chicken tacos aren't shredded chicken tacos. Grilled chicken tacos doesn't mean carne asada tacos. Fajita quesadilla doesn't mean fajitas. We're talking easy stuff here... Love Jose's! Best food around. More authentic than other options in the area. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
