The deli clean and the service is fast and friendly. The layout of the place is more like a diner than a traditional deli. The food is ... kind of meh. I had a bagel with salmon, and I could barely taste the salmon because of all the cream cheese. It's probably worth visiting occasionally when I'm close but not worth making a special trip. 3.9 Decent sandi, but I can get on par or better for cheaper. I think the disconnect is that it's a restaurant and not a deli, and thats reflected in the prices. The staff was super friendly and we will for sure go back for that alone. Ingredients were fresh, and they really have qc down. We sat at the bar and watched expo inspect each sandi. They care and it shows. I had the pastrami, obvs. Good cut of meat! Available in 2 sizes. The wife's chicken sandi looked great too. Very fresh. Wonderful Jewish deli right off the highway. We were lucky to hit it twice on our way to Boston and coming home. Food is excellent and the portions are large for a great price. It’s a gem in that area and a popular place to go. I would highly recommend as a destination! Great food. Fast service. Actually got lunch and dinner to bring back to the hotel. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. The potato pancakes were great and the cheesecake slice was as big as my head.

Great place for a packed corned beef or pastrami sandwich. They were closed the last time we stopped by. The remodel is subtle but very clean and comfortable. Our server was wonderful. She was bubbly, perky and very attentive and informative. Great food and great service. Make sure you take home some bagels or dessert.

Having loved the one in NYC so much, this was a wonderful surprise to find here in New Haven. Love the Matzo Ball soup and Pastrami Sandwich :)

Yay‼️ A Jewish-type deli in Connecticut! Had a corned beef Rachel and it was excellent. Also got a potato knish which had spice and berry potato-y. Also delicious. Our only unfortunate thing was not being able to eat inside because we arrived 30 minutes before closing. Friendly staff. Waited about 10 minutes for the hot food. Our new go-to deli. Can’t wait to go back and try the brisket!

My brother treated me to lunch, we split up pastrami sandwich and a corned beef sandwich. Topped off with a piece of cheesecake that was out of this world. The staff was so friendly from the moment we walked in very accommodating. Looking forward to enjoying it again

The server was super friendly, and the service was excellent. We went for the pastrami, and we were not disappointed. They cut is not too thick, not too thin and tender. The options for add ons let us customize our sandwiches to our liking. Overall, I have a super experience. When I come back to CT, I will definitely be stopping in. The owner took the time to chat and check in on us.
