Not the dining experience we were expecting. Barely handicap accessible. Food, not so good, have to pay extra for fries with a pressed,fried hard,burger. Extra for toast with your breakfast . I love this place the food and the people, my dad and i would go there alot but i got a job and he got diagnosed with cancer and is sadly no longer with us. he'd get chicken fried stake and id get a piggy burger which is the best burger ive ever had and almost the only thing I get other than the french toast special. This is one of those hole in the wall places that is worth the visit. It is very rustic inside and as soon as you sit down you know the food is going to be amazing. You watch the cook and the dishwasher right in front of you. Nothing is hidden. What got me excited was when my server asked, would you like onions and gravy in your potatoes? My smile got so big and I got both lol. The chicken fried steak was amazing. He did say it was not made fresh to order but wherever he gets them, they make perfect!! The price was great as well. I've eaten here very regularly for the 6 years I've lived in Oregon and decided to finally leave a review. The whole place has a very home-like feel when you go in. Super friendly staff and I've never had a single thing that I didn't like. I've tried several different things between breakfast and lunch but for breakfast the hand pressed sausage patty and eggs is probably my favorite. For lunch I really like the bacon cheeseburger w/fries, or grilled cheese w/fries. Also, it is one of the only places I know of that will make a cheeseburger and fries with a Pepsi at 6am when they open. Lol. Would highly recommend for any occasion.
