One of my culinary highlights on my 1 week trip in Serbia. A really cosy restaurant with fantastic food. No matter if local or international food and drinks, both choices were a bulls-eye hit. The portions were super big so that we could have easily served 4 more people. The taste of all orders no matter if soup as starter, meat, pizza and salads to the main menu were really good and left nothing to be desired. Hope that I can make a stop here again with the next customer visit.
There are a couple things wrong here:
1. The food takes FOREVER to arrive. We ordered 2 pizzas and waited for at least 45 minutes for it. A guy came in a few minutes after us, ordered a drumstick, after waiting for a while, he was reassured that it would be ready in 15 minutes, but the man waited for more than 30 minutes after that, and ended up leaving.
2. The pizza crust was either terribly made, or simply store-bought because it was very dry and hard.
3. The prosciutto pizza was, for some unknown reason, so salty that it was almost inedible, it was as if it had been sprinkled with sea salt (I've had many prosciutto pizzas and I know what it should taste like).
4. Although there is a very good separation between the smoking (upstrairs) and non-smoking (downstairs) area, no one seems to pay any attention to that, least the waiters, who let people smoke in the non-smoking area.
We came here by way of recommendation, but we were really disappointed.
