Koto has been around for almost 20 years now, and has always been a great lunch, dinner, sushi bar and more. The Hibachi selection is standard fare but has a couple things I have not seen elsewhere. The sushi selection is amazing but a lot of it seems small if you're used to grocery store sushi. The value is top notch though because the prices seem like they haven't changed since opening, especially compared to other Japanese steak houses. This place is one of our favorite hibachi /sushi places !! The food is always amazing and the chefs are very entertaining (especially Jon he always has us cracking up) From the moment we walk in the door they make us feel welcome! The one gripe: 18% gratuities were included in the tip (since we had a large group) which was not OBVIOUSLY clear on the credit card receipt with tip and signature lines and they ask you to “fill this out” and sign. A great dinner-and-a-show!! We had a big group of people including vegetarians, family with gluten-allergy and a bunch of starving tweens- and Koto was the perfect choice. Good place to go. Had the hibachi, they cooked in front of us truly amazing tricks. Only thing we didn't like was that we ordered 3 deserts and instead of everyone being on the same page the order goes on and about 5 minutes later someone comes out to say that 2 of 3 desserts were unavailable at the time so we talked and decided to cancel my dessert and that way we can all eat somewhere else. That took less than a min we then told someone that we wanted to cancel they told someone else and she came to us with an attitude then proceeded to tell the owner and she was 💯 in understanding and we left. They only used 1 egg for ALL of us haha and the vegetable rice didn't have any veggies at all... But we had 2 slabs of salmon and overall the food was great, the service was great and fun Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
