I hesitate to really share about this place because it is such a gem. It's a great little unassuming neighborhood place. I feel like it is my treasure. It is always pristine and the food consistently really good. I get the bento box with salmon teriyaki. My kids key the nigiri and are always eat every bit . . . It was excellent. The proteins were lean and non greasy, and the presentation, service, and atmosphere were great. The place looks dead when you look at it from the Castro Valley Blvd side. Good sushi and sashimi (sashimi was too thin as compared to other places.). Server were attentive but not intrusive. Did take out so atmosphere won't be rated. Phone order was well done. Thanks. Once I picked up, I checked for extra wasabi , which they charge for.... Third time, no extra wasabi and we are now done with Koyomi. Everything ordered has shrunk down in size and price substantially raised. Dressing for salad has changed to a sweet dressing instead of ginger. Sorry this happened because it was a go to place for us. Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
