My family stopped by in late December for lunch on our way to Smith Rock and had a fantastic meal! We got 2 carne asada tortas and 1 vegetarian burrito. The bread for the tortas was freshly made in house and the perfect texture. Our food came quickly and was delicious and very fresh. The salsas were also fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this small family owned business if you’re in the area! Price per person $10–20

My Spanish isn't great and no one - including the patrons - spoke English, so I didn't get quite what I thought I'd ordered. But - it was all excellent and the ladies were very sweet and the food came reasonably quickly, especially considering they make everything to order from scratch. The gentleman behind the counter was having a good nap so I walked around to the kitchen for help so as not to disturb him. I you appreciate authenticity, this is the place. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Madras. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have passed through Madras many times and never stopped for food. I will be making a point to go back here, as well as tell everyone that is headed down this way. The huarache with carne asada was the best I’ve had in a long time. The tostadas are much bigger than expected, so we took the second to go. We stopped here for dinner based on Google reviews. 💯 lived up to those reviews. It felt like sitting in the owners kitchen enjoying dinner. The food (enchiladas, chicken quesadilla) was fresh, made to order. The atmosphere was friendly. We will definitely be back. This restaurant and the woman who runs it are an absolute treasure. I felt like I entered someone's home, in a distant land filled with love and honesty. My mojarra was everything I hoped it would be. I have never had a corn tortilla I liked before, but these were delicious. It is simple food made of basic ingredients but what sets it apart is that it is freshly made to order. It is well worth a stop if you are in the area. The restaurant looks like an authentic Mexican restaurant. Funky but cool. Unfortunately the service was horrible. We waited about 40 mins and My husband got his food 20 minutes before me. Their excuse was they were busy but it’s unbelievable that you bring plate by plate and not all the food for the table. Don’t go there. Horrible service. Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20
