Shame on La Foresta. Went yesterday, with wife, for a Valentines Day dinner. Told that there was a special menu for the day. Only difference on menu were the huge increases in price. Example -Calamari app from $22 to $28. Entrees prices, for same size orders, were 6 to 8 dollars over regular menu price. Hope they enjoy their profits. They will never see us again. First time here and tried the flaming wheel, which we enjoyed. The pizza is not the best in the area, but good. The bread was fresh and warm, the pickled veggies was a good and new take on bread companion. Service was good and friendly. Will go Back. Something has changed here. I have been here before and had great food, but this time was not the same. It's been about a year because the prices increased so much it's really out of our range now. We went with a gift certificate expecting a really nice night out, but the food was not that great! The price is outrageous and the portions were not very large. I am certain that my mashed potatoes were boxed and not homemade, I have made better myself. I'm so disappointed in that meal for the price we paid. Our server was great, having a conversation with him was the best part of the night unfortunately. I don't expect we will be going back, it's just not worth it at all.
