Tiny but cosy Cafe, great atmosphere with little details in the service, which makes it a special and unique. Had a nice body, Brazilian coffee( cappuccino) with a very subtle tasty and creamy cheesecake. Lastly, a complex and juice Ethiopian espresso! Vanmorgen een onwijs leuke koffie workshop gekregen van Larissa. We waren met een team uitje, totaal 9 man. Ze had de zaak speciaal omgebouwd om wat meer plek te creëeren. We kregen heerlijke zelfgebakken bananen brood, wortel taart en glutenvrije snickers op basis van dadel en chocola (heerlijk!!!). De theorie+uitleg van de oorsprong van de bonen en het brandingsproces werd goed uitgelegd. Ook was er tijd om de verschillen in de bonen te proeven. Daarna tijd om zelf te oefenen met koffie zetten en de melk juist opschuimen. Dat is zo makkelijk nog niet! Maar Larissa helpt waar nodig en doet alles met enorm veel passie. Dat merk je aan alles! Iedereen heeft meerdere malen kunnen oefenen en zelfs hartjes gemaakt met latte art. Het was een onwijs leuk uitje en gingen allemaal naar huis met een zak koffiebonen. Ik kan zowel de koffie, chai latte en het gebak aanraden. En Larissa maakt de boel net wat gezelliger🤗 Top zaak! Zeer goede ervaring met bestellen van een espressomachine bij La Jeu Coffee. Eergisteren online besteld en al binnen een half uur een persoonlijke mail van Larissa dat de koffiemachine besteld was en rechtstreeks vanuit Sage geleverd zou worden. En inderdaad gister werd de machine keurig geleverd. Zelfs vandaag nog een mailtje gehad met de vraag of de machine geleverd was en informatie over de garantie. Erg fijn persoonlijke aandacht. Larissa heeft voor ons een fantastische thuis koffie workshop verzorgd. Wat hebben we veel mogen leren, geweldig! Leuk is dat je begint met de basis. Larissa licht toe waar koffie vandaan komt, hoe het wordt geproduceerd en wat het verschil maakt in smaak qua koffie. Leuk om hier meer over te leren en handig als je zelf bonen gaat kopen. Wat maakt een boon uit Ethiopië anders in vergelijking tot bv. een Braziliaanse boon. Ook leer je het verschil in brandingsproces. Kortom veel praktische en leuke feitjes. Vervolgens gingen we natuurlijk zelf aan de slag! Eerst het proeven van verschillende type espresso's. Daarna het instellen van je apparaat, hoe krijg je dat onder controle? Vervolgens hebben we geleerd hoe we het perfecte cappuccino schuim kunnen creëren en hoe je er mooie latte art van kan maken. Larissa straalt volop passie uit en is echt een expert in haar vak! Knap hoeveel ze ervan weet. Ze luistert, stelt goede vragen aan ons en zorgt voor een fijne sfeer! Géén vraag is te veel voor haar. We voelden ons super op ons gemak om alles te kunnen vragen en behandelen. Kortom: een aanrader :). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice café and great and unique concept. They make their own ceramic cups and have a monthly theme for their treats (this month is St. Valentine's). Its vintage style is charming and the tables have coffee beans inside their legs. The space is quite small but it has a chill atmosphere. The oat lattes were too bland for our taste. The fig brownie was yummy and you could definitely taste the fig. However, it had a texture that was too soggy and that made it harder to eat toward the end. I would also advise to keep the cakes covered with a glass cover as they are placed very closed to the tables where people eat and it's not the best feeling to see that people can be talking on top of the treat you're about to enjoy. The staff are super friendly and they were one of the most welcoming baristas we've encountered in the past while. Nice chocolate almond treat to accompany coffee.
