We have been coming to St. John for 30 years, and we enjoy the diverse dining options. This is the place to go to experience the local cuisine prepared and served by passionate, humble local people. Edward and his crew are warm and genuine. We went twice in our one week stay and felt like family / friends. Snapper, oxtail, and seafood stew are amazing! Great value, too! Edward owns and manages this true Caribbean restaurant that serves fabulous food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and excellent service. I had the stewed chicken and rice. It was perfect - not bbq, not too spicy just great Carib flavored sauce that went so well with the seasoned rice and beans and side of fried plantains with awesome seasoning. The red snapper is the bomb! There was some construction going on that day (lunchtime) and the owner moved us into a bar area for quiet. The food more than made up the change of atmosphere. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
