The Lagerhaus in Saint Gallen is a wonderful place to go for a special occasion. The restaurant has a very stylish and industrial chic atmosphere, with its own art pieces and an open kitchen. The menu is dominated by meat, but there are also vegetarian options available. The Châteaubriand is one of the highlights, served on a hot stone plate with sides like truffle mash potato, fries, salad, and grilled vegetables. The wine selection is excellent and the staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are a bit high, but it is worth it for the quality of food and the atmosphere. The only downside is that the restaurant can get quite noisy when it is full. All in all, the Lagerhaus is an excellent choice for a night out in St. Gallen.
