This is a restaurant that wants to be a nice restaurant but they don’t know how to service their customers like nice restaurants service their customers. We had reservations, but had to wait 10 minutes for a table. What’s the point of a reservation if you still have to wait? We sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. The appetizer got there almost immediately, which tells me it was sitting in the back under a warming table. We waited another 10 minutes for the bottle of wine, only to be told they were out of it. I commented to the waitress that was a long time to wait for something they were out of, she sassily explained to me that “they were busy and I need to be patient” and then walked away before we could order another bottle of wine. At the prices they are charging on their menu, I expected more professional service. If I wanted to get treated like garbage, I would have just gone to McDonalds. Service Dine in Service: 1

Steak was cooked right. Prime Rib didn't have much flavor. We were there on Friday. Rib is Thursday special. I felt it was a little overpriced but it was busy and definitely worth trying Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food was great, no errors in ant of our orders, waitress was funny and spunky to put up with our big family and not fall apart! It was sub zero temps and light crew and they did great with all the difficulties. Mostly very good for us 6 diners. But the coconut shrimp barely had any coconut in the batter. But the shrimps were very nice size and cooked perfectly. One diner loved the burger but was not impressed with the fries. We'll be back if we're in Yorkville again. I have really enjoyed this restaurant several other times. Typically we go on a weeknight. Our most recent visit was on a Saturday. I had to send my steak back because it was over cooked. When they brought my steak back it was overcooked again. At this point while sitting watching my husband eat alone I decided I’d just keep it. The unsettling part for me is the waitress said my manager approved 20% off your steak. To me being a person who typically drops $200 on a dinner for 2, I am not looking for free food but really. I would think with so many restaurants closing in the area , you would want to keep all your customers coming back. I’m sad to say I will not be back. In most if not all fine dining restaurants the manager stops by to see what the problem was, not at this place. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
