Lechon, rice with gandules and sausage were very flavorful. Food is not hot right out of the oven but everything tastes delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch meal. Will be back again. I went on a weekday, it wasn't too busy but there was a steady stream of people coming and going. There was plenty of parking across the street. This place is located in the town of Trujillo Alto,Puerto Rico. This is a Lechonera is a roast pork restaurant,they only sell roast Pork,Arroz con Gandules with sweet Potatoes and more,they also serv beers,drinks and beverages. They also have bathrooms,parking,wheelchair accessible entrance and masks are still required.

Doesn't offer dining in but that's okay. Nearly died trying to get here with all the windy narrow roads but the food was worth it. Juicy pork. I got some rice too with a medalla and damn it was so good. Nice and affordable.

Know prior to go : A lechonera specializes in roasted pork that rotates on a spit over a bed of charcoal for six hours every day until the flesh is juicy and the skin reaches the pinnacle crispiness a pig can achieve. The perfect Boricua feast here consists of Lechon asado (pork on a spit), arroz guisado con gandules (yellow rice and pigeon peas), guineitos verdes (boiled green bananas), morcillas (blood sausage), batata frita (fried sweet potato), and pastel (a tamale-like entrée typically stuffed with pork meat). Lechoneras are much more than a restaurant as they offer live music and a dance floor. Thus, a day at a lechonera can easily become a full blown party - especially if people invite friends and family along for the road trip.
