Food was good. Our server was slow to observe when we were ready to order and when the food was under lights, waiting to be served, someone else had to remind her. She only had three tables, mine included. She didn't check to see if we needed anything. I had to get another server's attention to get our server. The food at Leo's was good as usual. I ordered takeout online, it was paid for online. I arrived a couple minutes after the expected ready time expecting to quickly pick up and be on my way. There was a line that formed and went down the aisle between booths of people eating their meals. I felt bad for the diners that had to have people practically standing over them as they ate. I think the line is intended to go a different direction, but it's faster for people to wait between the booths. I don't really know. But I can't imagine the diners enjoyed it. They were clearly busy. The staff seemed overwhelmed. I had to wait about 10 minutes after my arrival before I got to the counter. I could see my food ready, but not yet bagged. When I finally got to speak to the staff I was told it would be a few minutes (because it wasn't bagged) and she went on to help the person behind me. Fortunately the person who can bag did so within a minute, and I eventually got my cold food. It reheated well and I enjoyed it even though it wasn't exactly what was ordered. Ha. I love this Leo's and will return but hope they can figure out a better system for busy times and so the diners don't have people hovering over them. They have always been extremely efficient prior to this experience. Looking forward to a better one next time! Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We watched the Coney Bros Episode of this restaurant on YouTube so we had to come try the Coney. Really enjoyed the chilli cheese fries and the michigan salad as well. We came back around before a concert and I got a salad, the bowl was only half full (Picture)which was a little frustrating we also ordered a Omelette with cottage cheese the cottage cheese didn't come untill are meal was over and the bill was brought so also frustrating. There were a lot of occupied tables but we were able to seat ourselves and the food we ordered arrived at our table quickly. The fish was flaky and had a nice crispy breading. The fries seemed like they had been under a heat lamp, limp like, and needed salt. We had 2 great waitresses. The food here is pretty good. They have a variety of hot dogs, which aren't anything special - just variations in toppings. The breakfast menu is solid. I had the Kitchen Sink Skillet, which was sort of a pile of stuff. I later had digestive issues after visiting, and I suspect it was the hot dogs. Fantastic family friendly diner. Certainly one of my favorite Coney Islands in the greater Metro Detroit area. Excellent food combined with well mannered and professional servers. The meals are prepared and served in a very timely manner. Little to no wait time which is a rarity these days. My family and I frequent this particular Coney Island because they always get the food right and it’s always a delightful experience. Overall, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you’re in the area & looking for a peaceful & friendly spot to dine for a fair & worthy expense, the price for a decent size meal here is well worth it! Surely. If you’ll take a moment to peep 👀 the photos I’ve attached to this review. You’ll see why I took the time to leave this review! Stop in and give this Coney Island a chance to satisfy your tastebuds!
