While the TIP trend, (for some Fast Food Locations), seems to be growing in the Food Service Industry, it’s almost downright threatening to me as a consumer to have the “option” to leave a tip! If for nothing else, the cashier was a sweet young person that tried his best to make my experience better. Thank you for that, my young friend! At any rate, my $20 meal of 3 pcs of fried Pacific Cod left little to be desired when I saw the “Cook”, cradling his cellphone carrying on a conversation WHILE he was cooking my order! He didn’t wash his hands but, did put on a pair of new gloves! My stomach turned when I saw that he grabbed his phone with his gloved hand to adjust it back under his neck and then proceeded to grab my food and package it to go. We all know the cell phone is not the cleanest device, and it shouldn’t be used anywhere near food! Cross contamination can be deadly! That being said, I couldn’t in all honesty eat that food! The cashier was more than understanding and was willing to redo my order, but the cook argued with me that my food was never handled by him! I used to love to eat here! I called the location to speak with the General Manager, but the phones were unattended. I really tried before making this review. I’ll not be eating here until who knows when, and I’ll use every media to leave a TIP for this cook, like “Leave your phone in your locker!” A Tip is: to give a small present of money for some service. “To Insure Prompt Service”

I am really upset with this place. I live in Anaheim and there isn't a decent fish and chips place like this in all of orange county. Everything was perfect. The fries, the coleslaw, the beer(had the Downtown Brown..perfect), all were top notch. Now I can no longer eat fish and chips anywhere else. You think I am fooling? Exceptional service and food! We didn’t realize the store closed at 8 and came in 20 minutes until closing. The staff were amazing! The food was perfect! I had salmon sliders and my boyfriend had fish and chips. The owners brother in law was working very hard cleaning the place and taking care of all the guests! He came and cleaned a high chair for us. We came here on a whim but will most definitely be back! Thank you so much!
