I don't know what to say. Serving an entree to 1 kid and 1 parent. Then making the other 1 kid and 1 parent wait 25 minutes to get the rest of the food. Putting out a well-done €25 piece of meet that looked like it was burnt and then microwaved. Plus missing the side. The only reason I did not get angry was not to embarrass my family. Happiest moment was having the pleasure to pay €200 so we could leave.
I've worked as a cook . You need to fill fewer tables to match what you can handle. Probably a new manager & cook who take pride in their work.
You won't be seeing us again. Bon chance.

Had the goat cheese foccacia (grilled home made foccacia with goat cheese, semi-dried tomatoes, rucola, maybe honey dressing but I ordered extra honey, and pine nuts of which I could only detect one) and 12 uurtje (tuna salad, pumpkin soup, bread and croquette and mustard).
Good size servings, all good!
With fresh mint tea.
Nice cosy place by the yacht harbour.

As an epicurean aficionado with a discerning palate, I found myself utterly disheartened by the gastronomic experience that unfolded during my recent visit to De Haven van Huizen. Expecting to indulge in a delightful culinary affair, I was instead met with a series of unfortunate events that left me in a state of utter disbelief.
The initial blunder presented itself in the form of a grotesquely undercooked chicken dish. It was with trepidation that I beheld the raw, fleshy specimen before me, a sight that was nothing short of repugnant. Evidently, the kitchen staff failed to exercise the necessary culinary acumen, resulting in a dish that was not only unpalatable but posed a significant health risk as well.
Our second foray into De Haven van Huizen's offerings proved no better. The club sandwich, which ought to have been a harmonious medley of flavors, was marred by an overwhelmingly saline assault on the taste buds. The egregious level of saltiness rendered the dish virtually inedible, leaving me with a profound sense of disappointment.
I must also make mention of the lackluster service. The staff, though cordial in their demeanor, were marred by a conspicuous lack of attentiveness, further exacerbating an already unpleasant experience.
In summary, De Haven van Huizen's culinary ineptitude and subpar service rendered our visit an abysmal disappointment. It is with a heavy heart that I cannot recommend this establishment to fellow gourmands seeking a refined dining experience.
Worst of all, they served us alcohol-free Radler when we ordered regular Radler. It tasted like monkey piss.

Friendly staff, delicious food and not too many options which is good. There are enough vegetarian options. The atmosphere is cozy, like visiting your grandparents.
