I was very disappointed. They were fairly busy so I sat at the bar. The bartender seemed very seasoned and experienced so I felt comfortable that the service would go well. After taking my order and screwing up my drink, he did a great job of ignoring me. I order the most expensive steak (Porterhouse) because it appears to be the best value on the overpriced steak menu. I also ordered lobster chowder (the bartender assure it was good). The chowder was luke warm and mediocre at best. The steak was grain, tough, overpriced, and overcooked. It had an unusual texture and an unpleasant aftertaste. It appears to be a low quality piece of beef with a lot of tenendoizer on it. It was an expensive disappointment. It's our favorite place to go. John is a fantastic manager. He always stops by tables to see how things are going. I want able to eat my dinner, due to a medication I take, and he wanted to make sure it wasn't the food. We always have terrific service when we go there. We had the spicy chicken bites appetizer and we both ordered Outlaw Ribeye. Cooked perfectly! I ate mine 2 days later and it was still delicious! We went at 2PM on a Monday and there was a short wait due to lack of servers. They had the hostess cleaning tables. When we were seated service was prompt and the waitress did an outstanding job. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was very Texan. I was offered several drinks refills and a prompt check. They did a great job and the steaks were well seasoned. I'll be back. Waitress messed up our drinks never brought us bread. Flavored teas way too sweet, almost undrinkable. My filet was lukewarm at best and had a tendon running right through the middle which made a good chunk of it inedible. Should have waited 30min for Texas Roadhouse across the street to open. so we ordered steaks tonight I asked for well done my daughter asked for well Her steak was so tough you couldn’t even cut it. It was hard to chew. my steak when you get down closer to the middle of it straight it's just red not well done at all asked to speak to the manager. The manager said well we get you something else so we both ordered something else. The food and service was Excellent!! I had 9 teenagers and the wait was long, due to the restaurant being very busy and crowded. But it was worth it! My visit at Longhorn was good, Came around dinner time and we ordered a parmesan crusted chicken, with a side of sweet potatoes and bacon mac and cheese, and baby back ribs. Everything was good but the ribs as they didnt taste fresh so we did not like it. Server had forgot our ribs but it was quickly brought out after they forgot about it. Food was great! They made my fiancé steal well done instead of medium well, the manager came and fixed the issue and even gave a discount for the inconvenience. The server was amazing also.
