Came here tonight to celebrate my sisters birthday, and let me just say this place is the real deal! I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. This place was clean. The chips were cold and didn't taste fresh, green salsa was good, red was thin as water and no flavor. The beans were dry. My meat was cold on my taco salad. We left over half of our food because it was just very bad.

For the past year we have passed by this hidden gem and me and the hubby finally tried los Girasoles for Valentine’s Day - they were short staffed but was still overwhelmed by the customer service Laura and Jesus gave us! It is a family restaurant, mother, son, daughter and when I say we Mexicans are the most hard working they really define that, they opened right when Covid happened and ofc Covid shut down a lot of restaurants - they are truly hard working and humble at the same time and these days that is hard to see/find, and trying to run a business. Not only will I be coming because of the hospitality they gave me and my husband but the food is truly authentic. We moved a year ago from Chicago and it is hard for me to find authentic Mexican food similar to the one back home. I tried the Girasol sampler - fajita tostada, chicken quesadilla and chicken flautas was good, have not had any flautas out here similar to the ones back home and los Girasoles is close to them👌 when Laura came to ask how the meal was I thanked her and told her it was delicious but next time I will have to try the mole enchiladas and she brought me a sample to try the mole with fresh handmade tortillas de maiz OMG the mole reminded me so much of my mom’s homemade mole but hers had a spicy kick 🤤🤤🤤🤤 (don’t tell my momma) even my husband loved her Mole and he’s not into mole. Jesus made us a mango-rita, watermelon-rita, but my favorite was the pepino-rita. If you have been doubting to come this is your sign.

Los Girasoles Mexican Food was amazing!!! Food was seasoned to perfection, fresh and hot!! If you are searching for some excellent Mexican Food check this place out!!!! Prices very affordable!! Portions sizes are huge, definitely have leftovers!! Customer service was amazing!!! Restaurant very clean and safe place to dine. Definitely will be back to dine again!!!!

Chicken Enchiladas
I had been here once before a while ago and my experience wasn't the best, but my sister insisted on giving it another chance, so we did and honestly I think this has become my go to restaurant when I want to have authentic Mexican food. That's how good it was, if you're not too sure I recommend you stop by and give them a chance. You won't regret it!

After being urged by my family to try this place, I finally did! At 3pm this place was dead, which after eating the food, made me quite sad. Everything was delicious!! Servings were pretty large, as well. Not many restaurants offer salsa verde with the complimentary chips, so that was a welcome surprise. It was on the spicier side, which I loved. The chile con queso came in a half size, which I ordered and I still feel like it was a huge bowl. It was super thick and creamy. The sour cream chicken enchiladas came with 3. Rice was super flavorful, beans needed a bit of salt but other than that I was pleased. My wife had the tostadas and the beef was well seasoned. I did like the open atmosphere, and the covered patio looks spacious as well. I definitely feel this is a bit more authentic, rather than Tex-Mex, but it still hits the spot and I will be back!

This is a FANTASTIC restaurant!!!! This is the best birria taco and consume I’ve EVER had. I took the consume I had left over and ate it with my breakfast. The green salsa, well, you just want to drink it. Everything was amazing, even the service. I had 2 small complaints. The chips could have been warm and although the cucumber jalapeños margarita was beautiful and delicious, I had to ask for another shot to pour in it. I saw that other reviews felt the same. I don’t live close but my parents do and I can’t wait to go back!!!

Favorite restaurant in Lake worth. Absolutely worth the wait. Small family owned so go with time on your hands, everything is made fresh to order. Ask for the cucumber margarita WITH jalapeno, it's so good. You won't regret it. Mama is super sweet, cook is awesome, staff has wonderful hospitality.
