If you go there early (5pm-630pm) food quality ad service is amazing. You're taking your chances anytime after that. As they run out of options the later in dinner service they get. The rolls are hard at the bottom later in the evening, the entrees becomes less and less plentiful, and the sides as well. Get there early and get the best food they have. Nice, fresh, and delicious.

This Luby's is always particularly good! The food is always fresh and tastes great. A lot of people don't realize that everything on the menu is cooked from scratch! Not many places can say that. The selection is always awesome from meats, poultry & fish to salads, vegetables, breads and deserts.
The service is always attentive and friendly.
Luby's will ALWAYS be one of my 'Go-to' places.

We ordered our Thanksgiving meal from Lubys and it went perfectly. We arrived at their carry out order part of the restaurant. The staff greeted us and confirmed everything ordered was in the box. They have a brilliant box design for transporting this size of a meal. Thanks to the great customer service we had our order and were on our way in no time.

Where's the good food Luby's was known for? The quality of the food is terrible and not the same like it used to be. I visited it today and their isn't a variety of vegetables. The corn was very dark. The rolls are very small. There wasn't any green beans or cabbage. There needs to be improvement in the food. Where's the spaghetti, chicken tetrazinni and the fried cod? The macaroni and cheese with baked shredded cheese melted on top? The quality and variety of foods needs to improve!!!!!!

Fried Okra
We were visiting a family member at the hospital, so we walked across the street to Luby's for lunch. It's been a while since I've visited any of these, but I knew they would have a large selection to choose from. I had the turkey leg with gravy, and Sherry Ann had the salmon. I also had some fried chicken, and I know that's a lot of food, but I was pretty hungry. I got the beans and cabbage as my sides, along with a jalapeno corn bread muffin and a pistachio pudding. The chicken was by far the best thing. I'm so glad I decided to go big and add this to my meal. The turkey leg was a bit cold, and I'm sure they would have warmed it up for me, but I was too hungry to care. I ate everything I had ordered. Sherry said her salmon was dry and ate half of it, I ate the rest and it was a bit overcooked but that's only because when I cook this at home I cook it to medium, or medium well. If it was on a salad or with sauce, it would have been fine. I know that this kind of place is trying to make sure that all the food is cooked completely through, so it's not a surprise to me. I thought all the food was great, the service was spot on, and I would go back to this location again. The choices all looked great from the line, I could have gone so many different ways with my food choices, and that's why I decided to leave a review. That fried chicken though, was great, and I'm a fan of good fried chicken.

Ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes and fried okra. Meatloaf and potatoes were luke warm at best and the okra was hard. My server was excellent and attentive, but she couldn't make up for the terrible meal. I won't be returning

The liver and onions is on of my favorite from lubys. I went today and ordered the largest you could get. They have the a very small portion. I asked for gravy. They gave me very little. The liver taste like they fried it in sugar. When I went to check out the cashier threw my receipt on the floor when I asked for it. I had to pick it up myself and I was already in severe pain. I will never vist this one again!

A few years ago this was a good place to eat. Then it started sliding down hill and hasn't stopped. I had the baked fish, it was cold in places, corn bread muffin, hard as a rock. The sweet potato was good but no marshmallows on top.

The staff was great however after seeing so much mold on the ceiling while selecting my food I gave them 1 star I had to send the liver & onions back due to the taste I see health inspectors still aren’t doing their jobs this is gross consider new management too
