I had the spinach and tomato Benedict. Needed a little more tomato, and the sauce was a bit on the bland side. Service was excellent. My first order was not as expected, and there was no hesitation to replace it. Wait was a bit long, but it was a busy time of the day. They have a unique post in the rest room. offering to help customers if they feel unsafe, I have included in my post Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I live in VA, but needed a gift card for a client who moved out there. I called them up and they were so nice and mailed this gift card for us to the client. Such great customer service! And by the photos, the food looks great, too! If I am ever in Concord, I will for sure stop in!

Update Jan 21… Beware.. in winter months if the hostess suggests to have you seated in the other section of the cafe …. DONT … there is no heating ( poor heating)… always sit in the main cafe. Our server was great and food was good as always. Old review …. This is one popular local joint for breakfast be prepared for a decent wait. We went over here for the x’mas holidays, the wait time was about 20 minutes before we got seated. The server was very friendly, the place being busy, she did take time to attend us but once she did , the food came in relatively fast. The atmosphere is great inside ! feels very warm and cozy. Everything we ordered huevos rancheros, southern fried chicken sandwich and the Ruben were amazing. The prices are very reasonable, would definitely be back. Bon appetite my friends!! Went here over Christmas break. The place was very busy. We were a group of 4 and were told it would be 20 minute wait. In the end we waited 45 minutes to get a table. Once seated the service was quick, the food was good and the atmosphere was also really nice. Would highly recommend. It was worth the wait. The cornbread that came with the clam chowder was amazing! The clam chowder was also good. The reuben was also very good although could have used a little more sauce. On a very busy day, we got a seat right away, which was a great surprise. Our server greeted us promptly, but unfortunately, that's where the quickness ended. Drinks took a bit to come to the table, and our food took close to an hour to appear. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, sweet potato fries, and an American cheeseburger. They were very tasty and hot, and our server did apologize a couple of times for the delay and as we were leaving, I saw a sign on the door mentioning being short staffed and asking for patience. Having worked in the business before I am understanding and did leave a better than 20% tip, but you should know, you could be in for a wait. Great place to eat if you’re by the area. Service was quick and there wasn’t a long wait time (7 minutes). Food was good but definitely found it a bit overpriced. Great staff, super quick service and very helpful! When we ordered a sandwich to share, our waitress split it for us (without us asking) onto separate plates with fries and pickles which was really great. The inside was air conditioned and the food was delicious. There’s a bar inside, a pastry section and a full menu as well. No Wi-Fi if that’s what you’re looking for but otherwise, great! The people working at this place are super nice. I had a burger and my girlfriend had turkey sandwich. I think the burger was a 3.5 and my girlfriend rated her sandwich a 3. A while ago I also had a Belgian waffle, which I’d rate as a 4. However, generally the prices are too much for the taste and quality. When that’s factored in, to me it’s definitely a 3.
