Service was good. Food has been good in the past but tonight my chicken teriyaki was over cooked and cold. It tasted like a bad reheat job from yesterday. I didn't finish the meal left upset. Came here for sushi but didn’t expect them to have omakase as well so I tried. The Set B omakase was a 14-course. All the pieces are listed on the menu. The fishes were great quality for this price. Sushi rice was not on par with michelin star omakase but it doesn’t make sense to compare anyway. Other dishes are pretty good. Rolls were pretty fresh. I like the oyakodon the most. The tonkutsu one was sweet and delicious. They give generous portion too. Service was good and quick. Many people at lunch time. Japanese vibes decor. Parking is free. To their credit, I like that most of the rolls are simple and not smothered with sweet sauces. But, I don’t know how to describe it, everything felt mushy… maybe the fish quality is not that great?! Miso soup serving was very small and served only warm, no tofu; just threw it on the table and walked away. Waitress was a unpleasant. Was looking for a Japanese restaurant around the area and found this place, which had a decent rating. I would say fish is pretty fresh and the katsu is relatively light on the batter. The staff is pretty nice, but also somewhat awkward, like they weren't sure if they can do x or y. Wow! Very high quality sushi at this place! You can tell right away from the quality of the ginger they use. There might be a line to wait for a table but it is totally worth it. The specialty rolls have some great unique combinations and they are plenty big for the price. Our waitress was very nice and the food came out super quick for how busy it was. Tons of take out orders and they still manage to take care of the dine in customers at a great pace. The restaurant has some really cool decor and a great vibe. It’s a little small and the tables are packed pretty close so be aware if you don’t want to sit close to other people. Definitely check this place out!! Was looking for a quick bit with my wife and felt like some sushi. This place popped up on Google and we decided to try it. We were SUPER happy that we did! Didn't look like much from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised by the inside. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was upbeat. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was pretty big for a smaller place. There had to have been over 40 different sushi role selections. We ordered the Caterpillar role and the Popcorn role, both of these were AWESOME! The sushi was fresh tasting and the tempura batter was light and crunchy. Definitely a gem not to be overlooked. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.
