If you're an Italian cuisine lover, come here. Cooks at this confectionary restaurant do their best to provide guests with good veal marsala, tortellini and parmesan. Nicely cooked tiramisu, crepes and cannolis have a good taste. Get your meal started with delicious marsala, martinis or brandy. Visitors don't like espresso at Mama Lucia's. The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The staff is said to be nice here. The fine service is a great benefit of this spot. Prices are found reasonable here. Our group reserved the private room for our luncheon. The two waiters were so nice, despite our noisy group of ladies! The table arrangement was set for the number of ladies attending before we arrived. The waiters took our orders in courses which was a very nice touch. Food was very well prepared and served in a timely manner. Just perfect for our group of 18. Be sure to order dessert! True to taste for Italian food. All the dishes were absolutely delicious. I feel the lobster in the lemon cream sauce definitely could have been a bit thicker or creamer, and the chicken was a tad bit dry. Other than that the food was on par. They handmade a sangria for me which was delicious, the 2nd one kicked my butt in the best way. Everything was quick and easy with a peaceful atmosphere. For a Friday night around 7pm we were sat right away. They did say reservations are accepted, we just happen to come at the right time. My only con, if you could call it that, the decorations are offset from the centerpieces they sat on. It's the only thing I could stare at. Mark was our server and he was very attentive, fast, quick, and had great advice when it came to dishes and drinks. 10/ 10 will be back again! Nice restaurant. Staff was pleasant, but not overly helpful. The food was not good. Chicken piccata was uninteresting at best Eggplant parmigiana was limp and tasteless and seemed like it might have been around for a while. I have had better eggplant in a frozen dinner. Walked in for an early dinner without a reservation. Young lady at the door was friendly and we grabbed two seats at the bar. Our bartender (faith) was personable and very friendly! Made sure we were taken care of and checked in on us regularly. We enjoyed the complimentary bread, calamari and shrimp scampi! The calamari could be a little crispier, but everything tasted light and fresh. Food came out a little slow considering it was a slower night, but the pace allowed us to digest between courses. Would recommend this restaurant for those wanting to experience Newnans little piece of Italy! We had my daughter's baby shower there and it was great! The manager, Scott went above and beyond service even helping us decorate. Everyone at the shower loved the atmosphere and food. Waitresses did a awesome job taking care of our guests. Food was great! Will definitely have pur next celebration there! We were welcomed and sat promptly. Our waittess Jenny was phenomenal. She checked on us frequently, kept our drinks full and more. Their portions are huge. Amazing Lunch Experience! Raquel, the hostess, sat us quickly and promptly! Jay the bartender efficiently was able to pour me my craft beer. Our waitress was Katie and she was very attentive while having a full section, while the other waitress Jessica helped upkeep our table. Having known the Guillaume’s for years, they never disappoint with TOP NOTCH service & cuisine!!! I can’t wait for my next dining experience!!! Thank you for serving the community for 20 years!!! I'll just tell you this... I had enough left from my meal that it's 1am and I am nibbling on it from time to time after our visit hours ago at the restaurant. Absolutely beautiful place, comfortable setting, everyone was friendly, welcoming, eager to make the experience great. Love the lunch menu, can't wait to try dinner for date night. From the lunch menu, Vegetable Hash was delicious, Burger was a great portion, slightly undercooked for medium well, expected a little more "taste" in the burger (tenderloin & ribeye ground mix) with bar chips. Went to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. He wanted pasta and meatball out. So we went here and it will be the last time we do so. The food wasn't good at all. Bland, and I was afraid to eat my chicken. My husband's wasn't good either. Don't waste your money. The drinks were on point, and service was just okay.
