We love this place! It's our daughters favorite place to go. The white queso is amazing. We have been waited on by Amy and Josh. Both were great!!! Awesome service! Also, Josh recommended the apple pie dessert tonight, (we usually get the sopapillas which are also yummy) but this was yet another thing my girls will be begging for in the future. Warm apple pie on a skillet with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They loved it! We will be back again and we can't wait! Everything was great, the only complaint is when the lady came over and filled our salsa bowls, I asked for more chips. She had 2 partial baskets she just picked up from other tables, she poured those in our basket. We did not eat them, that's gross, they came from 2 other tables that other people had been eating from. We will continue to be customers, but I'd like fresh chips from the kitchen! New to Sherman so wanted to try out Mariachi’s. Not busy but very short staffed. House margarita had very little ice and tasted like lemonade. Both dinners were so very salty. Really trying to find good Mexican food but were disappointed. Our waiter was very nice and running his butt off taking care of 5 tables. Sadly, we probably won’t be back. First time I've ever been to a Mexican restaurant and the chips were not home made. The cheese taste like Velveeta. I eneded up not ordering food and my husband just got soup. My wife and I found this place after moving here a year ago. We absolutely loved the food. The first time we ate there, I found hair in the beans. The food was so good, I didn't want to say anything to the family. I then found hair on the second, third, fourth, and fifth visit. Each time, hair was somewhere different (beans, enchiladas, desert, silverware, etc.). I finally had to tell the wife I couldn't eat here again. She went back once and found hair in her food. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. My wife had #6 Dinner and I had Alambres. Both meals were outstanding!! Portions were generous. Neither of us could finish our plates. This is the only food review I have ever written. I could not recommend it any higher. It will make your inner glutton come out. This place never disappoints! Great margaritas, salsa, and enchiladas! The service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious. They can usually handle large parties with short notice as well. Service and food is amazing every single time. Been going here for over 10 years and they've never disappointed. Our waiter Thursday evening was the sweetest man ever, and so attentive! Great rice and beans, the table salsa was delicious and tasted fresh, and the service was lovely, but the main dish left a lot to be desired. Would not recommend or return. Edit to reply to the restaurant response: I pointed out my favourite things in an effort to be kind. The cheese enchilada was swimming in what tasted like unseasoned velveeta and the tamale had an almost bubble gum under taste to it. It was very strange and unappetizing. I can see how it might appeal to someone with a blander palate, but there is much better Mexican food to be had in the area. Not worth a visit for just the rice and beans.
